Jamie Monteith

Bringing a wealth of football knowledge from his previous work at Arsenal, Melbourne Victory, and Football Australia, Jamie leads the strategic direction of Football Northern Territory. He works closely with government and stakeholders to ensure the sustainable growth of the game from grassroots to elite levels.

Administration & Finance

Jati Wixted

Jati manages the financial and administrative framework of the organisation. Drawing on her vast experience managing events in Darwin, she brings invaluable logistical skill to our operations, providing the structural support necessary for the successful delivery of our football programs.

Head of Football High Performance & Pathways

Josh Smith

Returning to the Territory after working with Adelaide United and Central Coast, and most recently serving as Manager of the Solomon Islands National Team, Josh oversees the identification and progression of top-tier talent. He provides aspiring players with the elite environments, specialised coaching, and clear pathways needed to reach their full potential.

Head of Football - Development & Education

Thomas Newbery

Thomas worked in the Melbourne football landscape before departing for the Middle East, where he spent several years expanding his professional experience. He has now returned to Australia to head up Football Northern Territory's development and education space.

Club Development Manager

Ash Dafter

Based in Geelong, Ash brings years of dedicated football experience to his role as the primary liaison for our grassroots clubs. Joining FNT most recently from Surf Coast FC, he focuses on capacity-building initiatives and providing the necessary resources to help local clubs thrive.

Football Game Operations and Projects Officer

Stephen Royes

Based in Alice Springs as our South Zone representative, Stephen is the logistical driver behind our match days and competitions. He manages complex fixturing, ground allocations, and specialised projects to ensure football runs seamlessly across all venues.

Community and First Nations Engagement Coordinator

Kobi Jennings

Born in Darwin with deep family ties to the Territory, Kobi returned from playing in Melbourne to give back to the local game. He leads our First Nations engagement, using his passion for grassroots football to build accessible pathways, foster cultural pride, and drive positive social change.

Venues and Operations Coordinator

Samyak Sanghavi

Samyak oversees facility management and matchday logistics. From pitch maintenance to coordinating major events, he ensures our venues are consistently primed for players, referees, and spectators.
